March 27, 2010 at the Fort Worth Kennel Club show Briggs has his second weekend out as a Special and goes Best of Breed under Judge Donavon Thompson.
On December 4, 2009 at the Lone Star State Cluster Briggs made his first appearance as a Special and takes Best of Breed under Judge Dorothy N Collier followed by a stunning Group 3 win under Judge Mr. Houston Clark.
Sunday, November 29, 2009 was a special day for us....Briggs' first litter was born. 4 girls and 3 boys. Check out the puppy page to see them.
On July 19th (at 15 months) Briggs earned his championship by being named WD at the Galveston Kennel Club show. On July 16th he was Grand Sweeps Winner and Winners Dog at the Blue Bonnet Boxer Club Specialty and on the 17th he was Best Junior at the Houston Boxer Club Specialty. He is the first champion for his sire and his win made his dam a DOM.
At the 2009 ABC Futurity Briggs was 3rd in the 12-15 month Fawn dog class.
Briggs' was bred by Skip and Linda Abel of Storybook Boxers. He came to live in Texas in July 2008. It has been a real joy watching him grow up. He started his show career at 6 months of age and since he was 11 months old he's been singled out and we've just been waiting for those majors. I'm thrilled with his tests results so far.
